Since 1971, Senior Adult Services in the Annex has provided healthy, sociable activities to seniors who come to us from both the downtown core and from across the city.

Our small agency has often been referred to as “the best kept secret in the Annex”.  We offer both full recreation programs as well as assistance in Friendly Visiting and Telephone Assurance for those who may have difficulty leaving their homes.

We have a Friday Seniors Club for the more frail senior offered in both English and Spanish. Seniors must arrange their own transportation (we can help) …and the lunches are free!

SAS also offered one of the first programs for Spanish-speaking seniors in Toronto and they still gather each week for a fun lunch and conversation.

Highlights of our organization include discounted lunches at the Madison Pub the first Monday of each month; and a highly-respected Osteoporosis Fitness Program which was also one of the first of its kind in Toronto.

SAS holds special events and takes several interesting day trips outside the city each year.  There’s always something interesting going on and we encourage your to explore our many activities!
